Job title**:Personal Assistant (PA)**

Location: Penn, Wolverhampton WV3

**Job purpose**:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

**About the employer**:
Our client is a 60-year-old gentleman living in the WV4 area of Wolverhampton who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide social support for 6 hours per week.

Our client has a condition called Cerebral Ataxia which causes difficulty with walking, balance, and speech. Our client is also an insulin dependent Diabetic.

**Main duties**:
**Social duties**
- keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
- attend medical appointments if required
- go to the Bob Jones gym in Blakenhall
- support to go into shops if required

These duties may vary from day-to-day.

**Hours of work: 6 Hours Per Week**

**Rate of pay: £11.30 Per Hour**

**Skills, qualifications, and experience**

**Essential**:

- driving licence
- car and appropriate insurance
- interest in going to the gym and exercise
- confidentiality
- good at building relationships

**Preferred**:

- male personal assistant preferred
- good communicator
- a good listener
- ability to support people with complex care needs.

**Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.**

**This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.**

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 6 per week

**Salary**: £11.30 per hour
