Whether you are looking to gain experience before embarking on your teacher training or have previous experience of working with groups of children or young people and are looking to work in an education setting, our training programme is an ideal way to take your first steps into a rewarding career.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Preparing the classroom ready for lessons
- Supporting children, working 1:1 with some children helping those who need extra support to complete tasks
- Helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records
- Supporting Teachers in managing class behaviour
- Supervising group activities

Our Trainee Teaching Assistant programme has been developed by an experienced school leader and includes a placement in a local primary school.

Following on from your training we have a variety of short-term, long-term, and permanent opportunities.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children of different abilities
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract, Graduate

**Salary**: £1,254.00-£1,478.00 per month
