Are you organised, proactive and thrive when working in a team? If so, this role is for you We are looking for a hard working individual to join our team on Pannal Ward in the role of Ward Clerk.

Pannal Ward is one of two maternity wards at Harrogate Hospital who care for women and babies during the postnatal period. Pannal Ward also provides care to women who have had complications during their pregnancy which require admission to hospital.

We are willing to hear from anyone who has administration skills, is happy and able to work primarily on a computer and can display our Trust values in their day to day work.

The role of the Ward Clerk is extremely varied. Some of the key tasks include:

- Being the first point of contact for relatives and staff both face to face and on the telephone.
- Maintaining patients case notes to an excellent standard.
- Supporting the clinical teams with admin duties to allow them to provide hands on patients care.
- Updating and maintaining electronic inpatient records.
- Booking follow up appointments for patients after discharge.
- Be able to provide an efficient and effective administration service to the entire ward.
