**Position**: Estimating Assistant / Office Administrator

**Hours**: 37.5 per week (Mon-Fri 9.00am - 5.00pm)

**Salary**: £18,500 - £23,400 per year - negotiable depending on experience

**Location**: Ingham, Bury St Edmunds (Office) with occasional home working

**Brief Job Description**

We are looking to recruit an assistant to work alongside our estimating team within our well-established landscaping department, and also to carry out general administration duties on a range of projects.

You will be responsible for assisting with a variety of tasks as listed below:
**Main Duties**
- Receiving and managing enquiries/tender documentation and then entering onto the computer system
- Measuring landscaping plans and detailed drawings - including producing plant lists
- Collating all required data/information for the estimator to enable an accurate quote
- Research and source material supplies and provide prices to estimating team
- Preparing and submitting quotations/tenders
- Auditing company procedures in line with ISO Standards ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 (ISO training will be provided - initially by our own staff and then externally at a later date if required)
- General administration, including assisting with health and safety matters

**Future Progression**
- There will be an opportunity in the future to progress to assisting with onsite measuring, meeting clients and assisting with preparation of quotes
- Training will also be provided regarding health & safety legislation so that you can assist with risk assessments and method statements in the future

We are a leading landscaping and tree surgery contracting business formed originally in 1992. Our head office is situated in Ingham, near Bury St Edmunds, and we have a further depot in Betley to the south of Manchester. As a company we pride ourselves on the high quality of our work and professionalism, carried out by our skilled and dedicated teams.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**

**Required education/experience**:

- Level 3 qualifications desirable but not essential

Relevant sector experience is not essential as the role can be learned on the job, however, relevant transferable skills are crucial. An interest in landscaping would also be beneficial.

You will be joining a small, friendly team of staff and therefore must possess the ability to work together as a team but equally you must also be able to work alone and be able to prioritise your own workload.

**Location**: The role will be based in our Ingham office with the possibility of some home-working.

**Start Date**: ASAP

**Salary**: £18,500.00-£23,400.00 per year
