Reeds Construction and Engineering Ltd are a family business that prides itself on delivering quality service to our customers and has grown to be highly respected within the construction industry. Based in Market Lavington, we a have friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable team. We are looking for a Store Person to assist with the growing demands of our business.

Responsibilities will include:

- Accurate issuing of parts and materials and the maintenance of stock.
- Carry out occasional deliveries and collection of parts and materials etc.
- Ensure checks to verify stock levels for re-ordering are accurate and appropriate.
- Ensure that received goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner and are checked for damages and quantity.
- Update computer systems to enable accurate stock levels.
- Get parts and materials ready for engineers, customers, and couriers.
- Carry out regular stock checks and update systems.
- Keep all stores and storage areas clean and tidy.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of parts and materials from vehicles and assist other Reeds staff in this task where necessary.
- To unlock and lock up all stores and storage areas as required.
- Follow all company and site Health & Safety regulations.
- Wear relevant PPE in the correct manner.
- Represent Reeds in a professional manner.

Applicants are required to possess the following skills and attributes:

- Should have experience of working in a similar role, involving stores, workshops and driving responsibilities
- Knowledge of IBCOS (desirable)
- Forklift licence (desirable)
- Full Driving licence (essential)
- Be able to work autonomously and be self-organised.
- Be punctual and reliable.
- Be a confident communicator with excellent telephone manner.
- Have a keen eye and attention to detail.
- Be able to multi-task and cope with some pressure and deadlines when things are busy.

This is a full-time role. Hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday with a 1hr lunch break.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
