- EKFB is seeking to recruit a
- **Safety, Health and Wellbeing (SH&W) Advisor** to join our
- **Calvert Area (CA)** Delivery Area on a full time permanent basis. This role will primarily be based at our
- **Twyford, Buckinghamshire** compound, but travel will be required throughout the CA Delivery Area.- You'll be joining an established team of safety professionals led by the sections SHW Manager. Supporting the project to safely delivery our section of works for HS2. You will drive all aspects of Safety, Health and Wellbeing for the assigned Delivery Area.- We would like you to promote and assist with both Corporate and Local SH&W Campaigns. The role will also require you to foster relationships with onsite operational teams and supply chain to monitor and drive SH&W Performance.- A key part of this role is to undertake Site Safety Inspections for all activities and proactively seek trends or anomalies within the inspections. You'll work with operational site teams to monitor and advise close out of audit/inspection findings, investigations and any other actions relating to the Delivery Area.-
- Another key element of this role is to carry out internal audits and surveillance activities for both construction and non-construction activities, as required. You will also appear on the EKFB “on call” Rota and follow the necessary “on call” procedures, as required.**About You**:

- Holding, as a minimum, NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) qualification in occupational safety and health
- Holding TechIOSH status or higher
- Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities
- Excellent communication and engagement skills
- Demonstrable experience of influencing SH&W culture and performance at operational level
- Knowledge of SH&W in the Construction Industry
