This is a crucial role within the Power Division, the role is to be part of the Equipment team to ensure that RF Power equipment are maintained and repaired to a high quality to ensure safe operation and minimise production down time. This role will be responsiblefor supporting the RF power functions, product teams, engineering support providing independent assurance and governance.

Position Responsibilities
- Understanding of vacuum systems
- Support the equipment build and calibration teams.
- Identify needs for preventative maintenance and implement.
- Carry out regular scheduled safety inspections and preventative maintenance tasks on vacuum systems.
- Carry out reactive breakdown maintenance on vacuum systems.
- Mechanical fabrication of components for equipment repairs.

Skills & Experience Essential Qualifications:

- Ability to work from detailed technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Basic knowledge of vacuum system.
- Basic Fault finding of mechanical systems.
- Analytical skills

Desired Qualifications
- Technical/engineering/craftsperson apprenticeship.
- BTEC/NVQ L3 or higher
- SAP software
- Basic Electrical/electronic fault finding
- Single & Three phase electrical understanding
- Understanding of temperature PID control systems (Eurotherm)
- Understanding of RF systems.
- High voltage AC/DC and pulsed understanding.
- Knowledge and/or training in PLC fault finding or programming (Mitsubishi).
- Problem solving experience (8D, A3, Root Cause Analysis etc.)
- Project management experience, willingness to take ownership of equipment moves.
- Understanding of Shot & Bead blast equipment

This is a temporary position with the potential to go permanent.
