Addenbrooke’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Team are looking for a highly motivated individual to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team in providing comprehensive multi-modality rehabilitation to patients with a range of cardiovascular complications including; Myocardial infarction, cardiac surgery, heart failure and heart transplant recipients.

Good communication skills and the ability to motivate individuals to create positive lifestyle change are essential attributes.

You will demonstrate efficient coordination and management of your own caseload, leading group based exercise and education sessions and conducting comprehensive clinical assessments.

Through thorough clinical assessment, you will take accurate measurements and analyse exercise test data to formulate individualised exercise plans for home based, virtual and centre based programmes.

To assess and suitably prescribe exercise therapy to patients referred to the CR service.

To lead centre based, virtual and home based rehabilitation interventions.

To be responsible for own actions working within the NHS code of conduct.

Contribute to audit and evaluation of the CR service.

Evidence of study to degree level in Exercise Science and BACPR Exercise Instructor accreditation is essential.

Experience working within Cardiac Rehabilitation is highly desirable. You will enhance your clinical expertise through regular attendance and participation at relevant local and national training opportunities.

You will demonstrate a caring, supportive and empathetic patient centred approach.

You should hold a UK driving licence or have the ability to travel independently to off-site locations.

You may be required to work between 8am and 8pm.
