Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. As a Day Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facility, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors and staff. This is a vital role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

**Duties**:

- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks inside and outside, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and sanitizing surfaces, leaf blowing, hosing, light gardening duties
- Organising and cleaning of recycling and waste bins
- Responding promptly to spills, accidents, or other cleaning emergencies
- Assist with setting up meeting rooms or event spaces as needed
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or reporting any equipment malfunctions
- Helping guests with luggage when required
- Ensure all areas are free from safety hazards and report any potential issues to management
- Perform weekly tests of the fire alarm
- Occasional shopping trips as/when required
- Provide excellent customer service to all visitors and staff members

Qualifications:

- Strong communication skills, to effectively interact with team members and visitors
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with mínimal supervision
- Basic English language proficiency to understand safety instructions and communicate effectively
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
