You will be working as part of a small staff team to plan and prepare fun activities for school aged children from P1 to P7.

As part of your responsibilities you will be collecting children from their school and walking them to the out of school care building which is a short 5 minute walk. You will also be responsibile for promoting the children's health and safety, taking part in activities with the children which will include things such as board games, arts and crafts, gym hall activities and sports, science, baking, team building games and imaginative play, just to name a few activities. You will also work with the staff team to keep records of what you do within your workplace.

As you will be working directly with children, good communication skills are important and we are looking for someone who has the following qualities: hard working, reliable, organised, positive outlook, is an active person and willing to take on responsibility.

This position would ideally be suited to a person in the 16-24yrs age category and living locally in Renfrewshire.

Training opportunities will be provided to work towards a recognised childcare qualification.

Hours of work are Mon
- Fri, term time, 3pm-6pm.

Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £5.00-£9.50 per hour
