sia Abrasives Ltd (part of the Bosch Power Tools/Accessories Division) is an innovative manufacturer of non woven and foam abrasive products as well as a distributer in the UK of coated abrasives. The sites in Greetland, West Yorkshire and Alfreton, Derbyshire, have a wealth of experience in the manufacture and development of abrasive products, ideally complementing sia Abrasives’ systems solutions.
**Job Description**:
- Completing day to day transactional postings whether they be back postings or journals.
- Maintain and update weekly and monthly bank reconciliations across a variety of currencies.
- Arrange payments using our online bank facilities and sending related remittances to our global supply chain.
- Arrange Euro Offer payments to Robert Bosch GmbH.
- Assist in the production of cash flow forecasts provided monthly to Bosch UK.
- Balance of intercompany transactions and subsequent reconciliations.
- Assist with departmental mitigating controls in relation to internal control audits.
- Assist with month end prepayment and accrual schedules.
- Assist with any other month end and year tasks as directed by the finance lead.
- Assist with Balance Sheet Reconciliations post month end.
- Maintain the sia UK finance process note collection as and when required.
- Maintain the IFRS16 Lease register for the sia entities.
- Assist with AR & AP in any day to day duties which may be required during the month or during periods of absence from the business.
- Provide any general admin requirements to the finance team.
- Complete on occasion any tasks requested by the sia UK Head of Finance and controlling team.
- Ad hoc project work in relation to business needs.
**Qualifications**:
- Preferably studying and showing the willingness to study a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) (further study support may be offered).
- Must not have already attained a postgraduate level qualification.
- Excellent numeracy and financial awareness.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and support during busy periods.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a good telephone manner.
- Good organisational skills and creative thinking.
- A willingness to support and succeed in a team collective.
