teach195. are actively looking for a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teaching Assistants in Oldham. This position plays a vital role in offering assistance to students with a range of learning needs across different Secondary Schools.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Tailored Learning Support**: Collaborate closely with schools to provide one-on-one and small group support, tailoring learning experiences to cater to the individual needs and abilities of students with SEND, ensuring inclusivity in the classroom environment.
- **Building Relationships**: Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their emotional well-being and helping to boost their confidence and self-esteem.
- **Assist in implementation of IEPS**: Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with SEND.
- **Empowering Student Confidence**: Work attentively to build trust and rapport with students, providing not just academic support but also emotional encouragement to foster a sense of belonging and confidence in their abilities.
- **Monitor and record student progress**: reporting findings to relevant staff.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with students with SEND in a school setting is highly desirable.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
