Marketing Operations Manager

We are currently recruiting a Marketing Operations Manager to join us on a permanent basis. As Marketing Operations Manager you will help us build, measure, optimise and scale our marketing activity. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating and deliveringintegrated marketing campaigns, informing strategic planning and budgeting, and enhancing overall marketing process, technology, and workflow

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the marketing department, working closely with the Head of Communications and Marketing to deliver the Marketing Strategy
- Regularly assess team capacity to ensure the service from the department meets and exceeds customer expectations
- Manage external agency partners
- Create high quality content to be used in communications campaigns across all of our channels as part of integrated marketing campaigns
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers and the customer data strategy to segment and profile customer groups and generate the necessary insights for high-performing campaigns
- Ensure brand compliance across all activity and channels
- Respond to press enquiries in a timely manner, always protecting the reputation of the organisation
- Determine and track metrics and KPIs for marketing campaigns
- Keep management informed by preparing reports, preparing presentations, interpreting information, and making recommendations
**About you**
- Have excellent leadership skills with the ability to positively influence others to meet the objectives and goals of the service
- Have a strategic mindset, as you need to be able to see the big picture and understand how each individual task contributes to the company's overall marketing goals
- Make an excellent team player and have good judgement
- Have excellent copywriting skills and a focus on creating high quality communications
- Are a fantastic communicator, ensuring that everyone involved in a project or campaign is fully briefed and understands the goals and expectations
**Requirements**:
- At least 3 years of marketing experience at a senior level, preferably in a similar organisation (social housing, non profit, charity)
- People management experience
- Demonstrated experience of using a marketing automation platform and a sound understanding of the marketing technology stack
- A deep understanding of the marketing process, campaign planning and execution
- Experience in dealing with the media at local and national level
- Budget planning and management experience
- Good working knowledge of GDPR regulations
- Continuous performance focus with a desire to improve
