**The Role**

As a Relief Dispensing Assistant, you will travel between our Stores and assist the Pharmacist in all aspects of the smooth running of our busy Pharmacies to ensure that prescriptions are received, checked and dispensed accurately and in a timely manner, and that customers receive an efficient and friendly service. In addition to the preparation of prescriptions, duties include greeting and serving customers, ensuring shelves are tidy & fully stocked, ordering and receiving stock and signing up all eligible patients for available services.

**Requirements**:
As well as the ability to work accurately and efficiently, with a high level of attention to detail, both independently and as part of a team, you will be flexible and hardworking, with a confident and friendly manner, demonstrating both excellent customer service and strong communication skills.

Applicants must have a minimum of one year’s dispensing experience and hold the NVQ2 dispensing qualification.

Applicants must be able to work 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday 09:00-18:00. In addition, you may be required to work on a Saturday as per the Pharmacy rota.

As you will be required to travel between our Stores as determined by the needs of the Business, a Driving Licence will be essential to the role.

It is anticipated that the role will mainly be based between our Coatbridge (66A Leven Road, ML5 2LT) and Wallacewell (227 Wallacewell Road, G21 3PR) stores, however may also involve travelling to our other four Glasgow based stores if required.
