**Health and Safety Advisor**

**Based at Ipswich (Potential for some agile working)**

**Permanent, Part Time (18.5 - 25 hrs per week)**

**Salary £25 - £30K pro-rata**

We are looking to recruit an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to be based in Ipswich with the potential for agile working.

**As the Health and Safety Advisor you will be responsible for**:

- Review, develop and facilitate the development of appropriate health and safety policies, guidance and procedures
- Design, develop and deliver health and safety awareness, briefings and presentations
- Research and develop efficient and effective safe systems and improve standards of safety management throughout Leading Lives.
- Produce regular reports and briefing for the Leadership Team, Service Managers and the Board as required.
- Have a good awareness and insight and knowledge of the Care Industry
- Communicate effectively with a range of internal and external people at different levels.
- Promote a positive Health & Safety and Environmental culture in the workplace, ensuring that employees and contractors comply with Safety & Environment legislation and that policy and practices are adopted

**To be considered for this role as a Health and Safety Advisor, you must have the following experience**:

- Hold professional membership of IOSH
- CMIOSH Accreditation (or working towards)
- Experience delivering training would be beneficial
- A flexible approach to work with a willingness to travel to our sites around the county

**In return, Leading Lives will offer you**:

- Basic salary up to £30,000
- Up to 23 days of holiday plus bank holidays
- Generous company pension

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 18.5-25 per week

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
