A GYB Joiner Team Leader will under take all aspects of 1st and 2nd fix joinery across multiple sites. They will plan labour and materials for joinery element of projects, build and monitor teams to complete works on time to programme. They will lead by example following the ‘Rules of the Game’ policy and ensuring all on their site does the same.

Door Fitting and architrave

Kitchen Fitting

Roofing / Tiling

Studwork Walls

Flooring

Kitchens

All other general joinery on domestic renovation, extensions, and loft conversions

Inspecting site for progress, quality and quantity of site tasks

Creating daily records and updating BMS (business management system)

Ordering of materials

Ensuring project follow programme and stay within budget

Assist project/contract manager with long term planning

Ensure health and safety is followed

Ensure all site packs have necessary information

Labour and material planning

Cut down wastage of materials and time

Other area of building a bonus

Log work records and progress tasks on site

Work with supporting staff and management

May be required to assist in other areas if skills allow and are required.

Driver’s licence, transport and own tools required,

Have good communication & interpersonal skills with clients, colleagues, and management

Use initiative, be pro-active & self-motivated

Be willing and capable to work alone and part of a team

Have a positive commitment to the vision and values of the business

Be well organised, yet flexible to follow company protocols

Pay: £18.00-£22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
