**AWS Platform Engineer (AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Python/Bash)**

**£55,000 - 65,000 + annual bonus**

**Once a quarterly in Leeds**

A market leading Insurtech business with over 1,000 employees, is looking for an experience Platform Engineer to join their existing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to work on an existing successful platform and with over a 1,000plus employees they really are a tech giant in the insurance space.

**Responsibilities**:

- Implementing technologies across the platform within AWS.
- Building and implementing CI/CD Pipelines in Jenkins
- Creating microservices and containers using Docker, whilst building Kubernetes clusters in EKS.
- Make the software engineering teams' deployment processes more effective.
- Heavily involved in Continuous integration, automation, scripting, Infrastructure as Code, and Containerisation.

**Skills**:

- Strong exposure to AWS
- Experience with configuration management tools such as ansible
- Infrastructure as code; Terraform, Cloud Formation, Deployment manager, YAML or PowerShell DSC
- Strong Linux skills
- Experience of using Docker, Kubernetes or ECS
- Building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with either Bash or Python
- Monitoring and alerting tools - Prometheus, Grafana or Splunk, ELK
- AWS Certification Required_
