Do you want to lead a team that will make a difference in someone’s life?

We are looking to welcome a Team Leader in South Tyneside, supporting people with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Day to day running of the service.
- First line management and leading a team of support staff.
- Ensuring that high quality, person centred support is being delivered and being involved with direct support provision.
- To work closely with Professionals and Clinicians to follow PBS Plans.
- Rota Management
- Implementing and monitoring service systems according to policy and procedure.
- Leading and supporting practice development within the team and provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
- Preparing and maintaining up to date support plans and co-ordinating the provision of high quality individualised support.
- Support the management of finances.
- Lead staff in writing, implementing and reviewing support plans which reflect the interests and wishes of the person.
- Promoting and supporting inclusion within the local Community.
- To participate in local On Call, sleepover and waking night arrangements where service needs dictate.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- An NVQ / Diploma level 3 in Adult Care or to demonstrate a commitment to working towards this qualification.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a service setting and management experience will be an advantage.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,940.80-£25,604.80 per year
