Tax Senior

As a Tax Senior, you’ll be responsible for completing client tax returns, reviewing work of junior members of the team and supporting with any client queries.

**Reporting to the Tax Manager the Tax Senior is responsible for**:

- Liaising with clients to discuss any concerns or queries raised.
- Review corporation tax returns
- Prepare client tax returns
- Create strategies for tax planning opportunities
- Support other members of the team with any queries related to tax and VAT.

**What you will need**:

- Accounting or tax qualified
- Experience of working as a Practice Senior/ Tax Manager / Tax Accountant / Tax Associate / Tax Senior / Group Tax Manager / Corporate Tax Manager / International Tax Manager or similar
- Proven ability to think strategically and translate strategy into implementation, plan and deliver on that
- Eagerness to improve, take initiative
- Demonstrate technical competence & experience and knowledge of IFRS & UK tax
- Experience working with auditors and UK tax authorities
- Excellent IT skills, in particular advanced competency in Experience of using SAP would be beneficial.
- Solid commercial acumen
- Exceptional interpersonal skills - able to work in a small team, and to quickly build good working relationships with all internal and external members
