Dorset HealthCare are looking for an experienced and dedicated professional to fill the role of Head of Business Intelligence & Performance.

As the Head of Business Intelligence & Performance you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of initiatives to improve the organisation's business performance through the use of data, analytics, insight and intelligence. You will implement the organisation's vision, goals and objectives by leading a team of business performance and intelligence analysts, ensuring that they have the support and resources they need to be successful.

You will have extensive experience in data analysis and visualisation, as well as a strong understanding of business operations and performance metrics. You will be highly organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and have excellent communication and leadership abilities.

The Head of Business Intelligence & Performance will contribute significantly to all aspects of our corporate and clinicals services, operational management and transformation. Lead the Business Intelligence and Performance team across its various functions covering business support, performance, service improvement and business intelligence.

Responsible for developing and implementing a performance management strategy to improve overall performance relating to clinical and corporate objectives. This will involve developing and executing opportunities to implement innovative technologies, to streamline processes, and to improve business performance.

Responsible for developing and implementing an information and reporting strategy to continuously improve the provision, use and interpretation of information to support strategic aims, enhancing the quality and availability of business data, and information to enable staff to make better decisions.

The post holder will need to ensure timely, reliable, accurate, valid, complete, and relevant reporting of performance data within and outside the Trust, and ensure the Trust protects the data it controls in accordance with its own policies and prevailing laws and regulations.
