Responsibilities:

- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or trends
- Utilize technical accounting skills to maintain accurate financial records
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of cash balances
- Familiarity with governmental accounting principles and regulations

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency in 10 key typing and data entry
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processes
- Solid understanding of budgeting and financial forecasting
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with government accounting regulations is a plus
