Job Title: Steel Draughtsman

Location: DE11 9DH

**Salary**: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

We are a family run steel fabrication company with a broad range of clients across various sectors, from construction to poeer, to food. We are seeking a highly skilled Steel Draughtsman to join our team to support our continued growth.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create accurate and detailed 3D models using Tekla and/or advanced steel drawing software.
- Produce fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and other relevant documentation to support the fabrication team.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure all designs meet project requirements and specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical support to project teams.
- Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the required standard.
- Continuously seek to improve the design process and identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of experience in steel fabrication and draughting.
- Proficiency in Tekla and/or advanced steel drawing software.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
