Compounder (Ft)

**TRC are currently recruiting for one of the leading sealant manufacturers in the UK who are looking to hire multiple Compounders on a temp-to-perm basis**

**Job Details**:

- Salary: £11.11ph
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday 2pm -10pm
- Must complete 3 month training period day shift, 8am-4:30pm before moving onto the afternoon shift.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Follow written Process Operating Instructions (POI) accurately.
- Operate manual/semi-automated machinery that processes chemical substances into industrial or consumer products, such as sealants, adhesives, etc.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards, and perform minor maintenance of equipment, workstations, and manufacturing areas.
- Changeover of machinery between different formats (adhering to standard changeover times).
- Achieve production targets, whilst ensuring material is made to a high standard of quality.
- Accurately complete all required production and quality paperwork each shift.
- MUST HAVE PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE.
- Prepare and mix ingredients according to specific formulas and recipes
- Weigh and measure ingredients accurately
- Operate mixing equipment and machinery
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- A strong team player who can work effectively with other team members.
- Practically skilled and able to work quickly and precisely.
- Knowledge of COSHH categories and appropriate handling of chemicals is desirable.
- Well organized, able to work under pressure, to deadlines, and exceed daily targets.
- Possess the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Positive - can-do attitude and self-motivated.
- Must be physically fit, as some tasks require heavy manual handling.
