**ROLE:

Assembly Fitter - Engineeringand Manufacturing
**LOCATION:

- Clitheroe future relocation to Altham/Darwen area in 12/18 months due to expansion**
**SALARY:

- Circa £27'000 to 30’000 plus overtime dependent on experience**

We are currently searching for an Engineering Assembly Fitter to work as part of a team and individually assembling bespoke machinery working directly from assembly drawings.

Collaboratingclosely with key team members, communicating with them throughout the build, assembly, design and testing processes.
**Assembly Fitter - Engineering and Manufacturing - Key skills**:

- Hands on approach to your work is absolutely key.
- Experience within an engineering business is essential.
- 5 year + industry experience is ideal.
- Positive attitude and manner.
- Excellent communicator to develop and build customer relationship.
- Positive attitude working as a team and supporting colleagues.

**Assembly Fitter - Engineering and Manufacturing - Role**:

- Building and assembling customer machines from bespoke orders working hand in hand with assembly drawings.
- Working closely with the mechanical designers / drawing office to ensure an exceptional level of work is delivered. Highlighting any issues with teams along the way.
- You will be exposed to metal work / welding spirals, grinding, some lathe work to ensure the machines are built to an extremely high standard.
- The role could include service, site work and installations (dependant on needs of the business).
- Assisting the team load and unload of machines, machine parts and spares when needed.
- Fork Lift Truck licence ideal but not essential as training can be given.
There is headroom to develop and progress within the business across the technical department, mechanical engineering design or engineering sales.
