We have an exciting opportunity in our Sport Department for a Sports Coaching Lecturer, full time at 37 hours.

**You will provide information to customers and advice and guidance to potential, existing and new students on a range of issues and promote the services of the College. Supporting students with their career goals and contributing to the achievement of the College aims and objectives.**

***Ideally, you will**:

- Possess a PGCE / Cert Ed. at Level 5 teaching qualification or equivalent.
- Hold GCSE’s in English and maths
- Experience within the sport and leisure industry - Sports Coaching experience preferable.
- Excellent knowledge of sport and education and the factors affecting these.

**Day-to-day you will be responsible for**:

- Delivering high quality and inclusive teaching and learning on one or more courses.
- Support the curriculum management on curriculum ad course development.
- Take part and comply with all quality assurance procedures and systems within the area of responsibility.
- Developing resources, supporting teaching programmes and deliver on a number of courses as required.
- Supporting the achievement of annual targets for learner numbers, income, expenditure and success rates.
