Depot Supervisor

As a successful Depot Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting to manage the logistics functions within a team environment and ensure that all Operation and Health and Safety procedures are adhered to at all times.

You will be a positive team player and be confident in driving if required also. Work & manage all colleagues to comply with standard operating procedures in line with company policies, achieving company KPI and absence management KPI’s and building the right ‘can do’ depot culture Planning of Drivers Routes - in line with Working time directive
- sourcing staff from 3rd party agencies are planned & managed in line with flex in volume and budgeted costs Deal with outbound vehicles following the correct company procedure. Ensure vehicles are loaded on time in a safe, presentable manner Ensure all vehicles have relevant handling equipment, straps & blankets for delivery crews Maintain the depot at all times to acceptable standards of housekeeping and lead by example to a high level of Health & Safety awareness/compliance and action any areas of concern Manage & develop the team whilst promoting improvement initiatives

**Salary**: £27,295.00 per year
