**Job Title**: Senior Premier League Kicks Project Coordinator

**Hours of work**: _37.5 per week_

**Salary**:£27K per annum (per annum)

**Location**: _Head office Loftus Road Stadium however this role will involve travel to multiple venues in West London_

**Role Summary**:
To support the Youth & Communities Department in achieving its targets. This is to include (not exhaustive):

- Provide a strategic vision for your location and a plan that moves from concept to reality.
- Build strong and positive relationships with a range of partners (Councils YOT & Reparation teams) and key stakeholders and chair bimonthly steering group.
- To be the lead local for the delivery in the areas and to be a physical presence in the area.
- Deliver the PL Kicks programme to the highest possible standard, ensuring that participants receive an excellent experience.
- Deliver PL Kicks activities and other related initiatives (e.g workshops, competitions, player visits, etc.) in line with the delivery plan and seek to achieve the agreed outcomes.
- Promote an inclusive approach to PL Kicks and related initiatives.
- Quality assures the provision/services delivered.
- To undertake appropriate administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of projects (e.g., collating accurate attendance registers, consent forms, codes of conduct, etc).
- Develop new inclusion projects with funders/partners in areas of need.
- Liaise with the Girls’ & Women’s Football Development Co
- Ordinator to ensure PL Kicks has a diverse and engaging offer for females

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Organise, prepare, and deliver a strategic plan for your area
- Deliver against agreed targets as per the strategic plan and funding conditions.
- Manage, develop and supervise a cohort of coaches and related staff.
- Establish a local steering group which is represented by key stakeholders
- Liaise with agencies to help keep the programme relevant with local, regional and national agendas. This to include maintaining a high level of expertise in the field.
- Deliver effective mentoring sessions using a range of restorative approaches for local people as requested. Plan, provide and evaluate individualised 1:1 mentoring support for local people as requested.
- Be the focal point for QPR Community trust and liaise with several partners across a range of schools, sports clubs, community groups and service providers from the public and private sector and attend related meetings as required.
- Develop a knowledge of all opportunities for young people in the community and signpost accordingly.
- Organise, manage and deliver other events as relevant to the programme
- for example tournaments and festivals, open/taster days or education workshops.
- Deliver a range of football-based activities that are structured, progressive, fun and of a high quality, in a safe environment, which are accessible to all targeted young people.
- Work with a range of young people from targeted areas including ‘at risk of offending young people’ and vulnerable socially excluded young people, to build up positive relationships.
- When required, provide cover and assistance for other coaching staff across all boroughs/areas that the Trust operates. This cover may extend to attending meetings, conferences, workshops, and events if required.
- Continually monitor and evaluate all sessions, activities and programmes and adapt delivery accordingly.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum FA Level 1 in Coaching Football
- Recognised Youth Work Qualification
- Driving Licence (desirable)
- In date DBS. Safeguarding & First Aid Qualifications (desirable)

**Skills, Knowledge, Experience**
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience of direct work with young people, 10 to 19-year olds
- Experience of managing or leading a team
- Track record of developing and managing strong community relationships
- Mentoring young people through coaching or teaching
- Experience of supporting socially excluded young people
- Knowledge of local issues and barriers impacting upon young people living in London
- Partnership working: experience of working effectively with a range of agencies to achieve good outcomes for young people, e.g. schools, Police, Youth Projects, housing
- Knowledge of Child Protection and Safeguarding principles and procedures
- Ability to work Flexible hours to respond to availability of the networks to be worked with - evenings and weekends on a planned basis.
- Experience delivering community-based session to differing sized audiences (Desirable)
