At IKEA it is more than just a job.

We are looking for you to join our amazing Kitchen sales team in IKEA Aintree as Kitchen Design Sales Specialist.

No previous kitchen training is required as full training is provided but past experience in a sales environment would be advantageous.

The role is part of a small team working in a remote environment from the main store, this will therefore involve an increased level of responsibility inclusive of Fire Warden and First Aid training.

Expected Starting Date: December 2023

WHAT WE OFFER
- Living Wage Foundation Employer
- 30 hour contract - includes working a minimum of 2 evenings and alternate weekends.
- 24 hour contract - includes working a minimum of 2 evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends.
- Operational hours are 8.45am - 8.15pm.
- Starting salary for this role will be £23,500, with an additional responsibility allowance added to this.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers & actively engaging with our customers to identify their needs and how to inspire and advise them on the best solutions for their life at home through home furnishings
- Maximising sales by being proud of your areas of responsibility, ensuring the customer meets an area that is clean, well presented and easy to shop
- Pro-actively interact with customers & provide excellent 1-1 customer service for a sustained period of time during the appointments
- Calling your future appointments to secure the bookings and providing the customer with insight into how to measure their room and set expectations
- Responsible for opening and closing routines and general house keeping
