**About Central Functions**

Central Functions is formed of the teams and people that serve the entire business. These people are integral to the smooth running of the business; ensuring everyone is paid on time, that materials are sourced and arrive promptly, that we meet our legal obligations and that our health, safety, and security is safeguarded.

**About the Role**
- Act as a key point of contact for training providers, incoming apprentices, existing learners (Upskillers), and our divisional People teams.
- Ensure best practice by reviewing, following, and introducing new processes that not only maintain the credibility of our programme and our data, but also increase efficiency.
- Act as a professional and engaging ambassador for THG at external meetings and events, such as Careers Fairs.
- Request and send updates for the Early Careers Hub on the company intranet on ad hoc basis.
- Monitor the Apprenticeships inbox and respond in a timely manner.
- Work with the Apprenticeships Team to plan Apprenticeship events, and wider team for Early Careers Events.
- Manage internal work experience requests; liaise with Health & Safety, carry out age checks, supervisor checks, and arrange a laptop if required. Etc.
- Take part in the Early Careers Ambassador Network, supporting as Project Lead for one of the three groups. Be a supportive team leader with projects, ideas, and how to launch them.
- Update and create guides and documents for internal employees to refer to, such as the THG Upskilling Programme. Work with internal stakeholders when required to ensure accuracy.
- Support Early Careers Apprentice with management of the Digital Apprenticeship Service, reporting and tracking purposes, and admin processes when required.
- Create Apprentice and Manager training (such as Early Careers Meet & Greet, and the Manager Support Session) and deliver training with Apprenticeship Manager Support. Work with Early Careers Programme Manager to ensure content is engaging and interactive.
- Work with the divisional talent teams to onboard apprentices, support with the Early Careers team meet and greet and manager check-ins to ensure they understand the commitments and support.
- Work with the Apprenticeship team to implement new initiatives as reward and recognition for apprentices using Incentive Payments.
- Support Early Careers Apprentice with updating levy transactions on a monthly basis and work with Finance and Payroll to ensure they are accurate.
- Manage and send Quarterly Surveys, review with Apprenticeship team, and agree on actions and suggestions for areas of improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Good working knowledge of apprenticeships, or experience within an Early Careers team or an educational institution.
- Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to build good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
