**Do you have a passion for cooking?**

We are currently looking for a Cook within the Ormskirk area to join our lovely client, a leading provider of care across the North West.

**Responsibilities**:

- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Working knowledge of food safety and hygiene protocols
- Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales.
- Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients.
- Cook food in a timely manner.
- Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
- Inform wait staff about daily specials.
- Ensure appealing plate presentation.

You will be required to prepare ingredients for cooking, make dishes for the residents and ensure the kitchen is always clean and sanitary.

**Salary**: £10.45 per hour

**Education**:

- Certificate of Higher Education (required)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 3 years (required)
- Kitchen experience: 3 years (required)
