The Muslim Council of Britain is seeking a highly skilled and creative Freelance Graphic Designer to join our team remotely. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our visual presence by creating bespoke graphics for our events, campaigns, and organizational initiatives. Your ability to adhere to our brand guidelines while delivering high-quality designs within tight deadlines will be essential to this role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create captivating and tailor-made graphics for events, campaigns, and various projects to effectively communicate the organization’s message.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communication teams to develop visually appealing materials that align with the Muslim Council of Britain’s brand identity.
- Assist in maintaining and enforcing brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all marketing and promotional materials.
- Transform concepts and ideas into visually engaging designs that resonate with our target audience.
- Work under pressure to deliver reactive designs when necessary, showcasing adaptability and quick response time.
- Proactively contribute innovative design ideas that elevate the visual representation of the organization.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, effectively prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Stay updated with design trends and tools to ensure cutting-edge and relevant design work.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse design skills.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- In-depth understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
- Ability to follow brand guidelines while infusing creativity and originality into designs.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interpret and implement design briefs.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Prior experience working remotely and managing your own workload.
- Familiarity with the values and mission of the Muslim Council of Britain is a plus.

**Working Conditions**:

- Contract: Freelance, 30 hours per week.
- Compensation: £14 per hour.
- Location: Remote working.
- Availability: Must be available to work on reactive projects and adapt to changing priorities.
