Coil Winder

**Position: Winder / Coil Winder**

**Location: Rugby**

**Package: £40 - £50 per hour DOE + Overtime at Double Pay (Inside IR35 - PAYE)**

**Hours: 40 hours per week**

**Contract: Circa 12 week contract - Potentially long term Contract opportunities available thereafter**

Our client is currently looking to build out their team of **Winders**. We are recruiting for multiple skilled and experienced contractors that are looking for a new opportunity within this well known business.

**Role & Responsibilities - Winders / Coil Winders**:
The main purpose of the role is to carry out all aspects of Winding on a complete range of machines manufactured in Rugby.

The main tasks and activities in this role are to carry out:

- Coil Insertion and packing
- Wedging and packing
- Blocking and bracing
- Brazing (induction & flame)
- Connecting and cabling
- Operation of heaving engineering machinery and managing the rotation / winding process as part of a 2 man team

This is a heavy engineering work environment and requires a strong “Can Do” mid set as well as problem solver and hard work ethic.
- Previous experience in winding skills - Essential (2-3 years minimum)
- Follow health and safety regulations
- Ability to read and have an understanding of engineering drawings - Essential
- Follow quality procedures and producing high quality work
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
