Pertemps Hemel Hempstead is currently seeking a Purchaser/ Company Buyer to work in a well-established local company who specialises building and distributing pumped drainage solutions to their loyal customers all over the UK
Responsibilities but not limited to
- Maintaining a monthly record of price creases from suppliers as well as monitoring monthly costs to liaise with Company Director and Operations Manager.
- Responsible for the creation of invoices to be submitted to the Company Director for higher approval.
- To assist the Warehouse and Production departments with monthly audits.
- To liaise with the Production and Warehouse Management regarding stock that is required.
- Chasing of delivery dates against suppliers for overdue deliveries.
- Maintain a high lever of recording regarding purchase orders and goods received notes.
- Updating Stock Data Systems with relation to the warehouse/production manager and warehouse staff.
Essential skills
- Inventory control experience with the use of stock management systems.
- Purchasing/buyer experience.
- Warehouse administration experience.
- Strong administration skills.
- The ability to cope under high pressure and increasing workloads.
- Proven record of working independently against company SLA's and budgets as a Purchaser/Buyer
Working Monday-Friday 8:30am-17:30pm
Pay
- £30,000k-£37,000k Dependant on experience
