Here at GXO **Foston** (South Derbyshire/East Staffordshire border) we are looking for a LGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. You will be working on a **full-time, permanent basis**, **48 hours** per week, on a **Monday to Friday** pattern with **start** times between **04:00 and 06:00**.

You will be working solely on curtain sided trailers, with no handball or multi drop deliveries

- An hourly rate of **£13.42 **with a £**1.50 uplift** for hours worked between **22:00 and 06:00**:

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Carry out pre and after use vehicle checks in line with company policy
- Ensure that all customer deliveries are made on time and in line with company procedure
- Monitor and report any vehicle defects and wear and tear
- Complete all paperwork accurately and on time

**What you need to succeed at GXO**
- Excellent UK geographical knowledge is an advantage, along with a strong understanding of vehicle and driver’s compliance and the WTD
- Full UK driving licence (with C&E entitlement)
- No more than six points on your licence (as well as no TT, DD, DR or IN endorsements)
- An in-date Driver Qualification card and a digital tachograph license
