**Utilities Coordinator - Finance**
**Warrington**

**Full Time, Permanent**
**Between £25,000-£30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)**

Here at Serco, we are seeking a Utilities Coordinator to join the Contract Finance Team, holding responsibility for processing and analysing invoices and other financial data across the Utilities and Property business area, supporting the finance processes and customer requirements.

**As part of this you’ll**:

- Analyse and reconcile period costs and payments by types via SAP
- Calculate and agree periodic recharge to customer in line with predefined recharge mechanisms
- True up of costs and revenue on an agreed periodic basis
- Collation of transactional cost evidence to support customer recharges and audit
- Work with the Service Delivery team to ensure timely and accurate invoice coding and allocation across defined financial periods
- Own specific areas; including property related external recharges
- Identify data gaps and resolve by reaching out to virtual team and suppliers
- Support with supplier statement reconciliations
- Build relationships with internal partners and external contacts
- Answer ad-hoc reporting requests
- Support half year and year-end audit process
- Work with the accounts team and colleagues at the shared service centre to ensure all accounts-related activities are performed well and in a timely fashion
- Make recommendations for process improvements
- Ensure data records are accurate and complete
- Provide additional ad hoc support as required

**What you’ll need to do the role**:

- Highly numerate with strong excel skills
- Self-starter, demonstrating ability to quickly build knowledge and understanding, whilst maintaining curiosity
- Evidence of building and maintaining good relationships with internal stakeholders
- Demonstrable strengths in diligence, transparency and accuracy
- Adaptable, energetic and a continuous learner
