Brick Mason

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other masonry units to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, fireplaces, chimneys, and other structures.
- Cut or saw bricks to required size using hand or power tools.
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto a slab or foundation.
- Use trowels and other hand tools to finish surfaces.
- Install firebrick linings in industrial furnaces.
- Repair and maintain existing masonry structures.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a brick mason.
- Knowledge of drywall installation, caulking, roofing, heavy equipment operation, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, tile laying and welding is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to work at heights and lift heavy objects.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
