**PRU Teaching Assistant**
Qualiteach is currently working with a Pupil Referral Unit who is looking to take on someone who is excellent with young people and can engage with them and encourage them to make the most of their education as a PRU Teaching Assistant. You will mainly be classroombased where you will be supporting 6-8 students who have been removed from a mainstream school. You will be supporting them during their lessons and help manage their behaviour throughout the day. The ideal PRU Teaching Assistant for this role will need tohave experience supporting youths within your local community or have worked in a school previously.
**Pupil Referral Unit**
This Pupil Referral Unit is located in the South London brough of Southwark and is a short walk from London Bridge Station. They cater for students aged between 10-16 years who have been removed from a mainstream school on a temporary or permanent basis dueto their behaviour, attendance, gang related issues or young pregnancies. They currently have 50 students who attend and in their last Ofsted they were reviewed as 'Good' in all areas.
