Optime are excited to be recruiting Baggage Handlers in partnership with DHL/easyJet at Gatwick Airport. This job offers fantastic hours and overtime opportunities. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company and fantastic conditions and facilities.

**PLEASE NOTE**: APPLICANTS MUST HOLD A FULL VALID UK DRIVING LICENSE

**What’s on offer**:

- Rate of Pay: NOW £12.79 per hour (plus Holiday and Pension) and overtime is paid at x1.5 - Competitive Salary
- Shifts: Days (Various Shifts available) 6 on 3 off shift pattern
- Hours: 40 hours per week plus Overtime
- Staff parking
- Bonus Retention: £1000 Effective 1st June (up to £200 per month until 31st October, paid in November)

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Processing passenger luggage prior to onward travel
- Be comfortable interacting with passengers
- Processing customers luggage using manual and automated systems
- Operating specialist equipment within the Baggage handling unit
- Always maintain a safe working environment
- You will obtain an ADP (Airside Driving Permit) within your initial training where you will be expected to transport luggage airside safely and securely.
- Ability to work in as team.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Have a calm, friendly and professional manor
- Be passionate about customer service
- You must be able to provide 5-year checkable history to secure long-term employment within this business
