Gallery Assistant

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a part-time gallery sales assistant to work at Yew Tree Barn and provide exceptional customer service to our valued customers. This is a rewarding role for someone who would like to work with interesting products in a pleasant and stimulating environment.

You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude and be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Retail experience would be an advantage but not essential, the right personality and an interest in our business is more important.

You will be responsible for serving customers, maintaining appropriate stock levels of merchandise, be responsible for daily sales, taking messages, and cashing up. The role is reasonably flexible, and we anticipate you being required for an average of 2 days per week, one of which will be Sunday. It will suit someone who enjoys meeting people and can show an understanding and appreciation of the stock both in the gift shop/food & drink areas and also the antique sections.

Pay: £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 14 per week
