The successful Receptionist will be responsible for the following:
- Greeting clients and others in reception
- Dealing with queries from clients in person or over the phone
- Answering the telephone in a pleasant and professional manner and putting calls through to the appropriate person and taking messages
- Ensuring front of house is tidy
- Photocopying documents and providing ID for clients
- Dealing with payments from clients and others, banking in accordance with current procedures and sending the paperwork to the Finance Team for processing.
- Organising the booking of meeting rooms.
- Sorting incoming post
- Collating and preparing all outgoing post and in accordance with current procedures.
- Keeping a record of petty cash.
- Delivering any hand deliveries or courier deliveries.
- Assisting with catering for meetings.
- Archiving files when matters are completed.
**The Successful Applicant**:
The successful Receptionist will have the following skills/qualities
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills including, multitasking and time-management, organisation and communication.
- Have an understanding of how to use Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Have strong time management
- Be self-motivated
- Have previous reception or administrative experience
