**About The Role**:
**Salisbury Group have an opportunity for an experienced and reliable commercial/office cleaner to join our team in Glasgow**.**
- **Part time - **12.5 **hours per week**:

- **Working week -** Monday -Friday, 6pm -8:30pm**:

- **Rate - £10.90 per hour**
- Effective delivery of site-based cleaning operations to the standards expected by Salisbury and our client, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and in accordance with the Site Cleaning Manual.

**Principle Duties and Responsibilities**
- Dusting/cleaning of all office surfaces
- Dusting/cleaning of all reception areas and meeting rooms
- Cleaning of the office kitchen area
- Cleaning of the microwaves
- Cleaning of the refrigerators
- Vacuuming all carpeted areas
- Mopping of all hard floor surfaces
- The washing of all crockery and utensils including the filling and emptying of the dishwasher
- Spot cleaning of any stains on the carpet
- Ensuring that the cleaning cupboard remains clean and tidy
- Handle substances in accordance with QSHE guidelines and COSHH policy.
- Monitor stock of products and condition of equipment informing your Line Manager/Supervisor of any products/equipment that requires replenishing/replacing.
- Inform your Line Manager/Supervisor of any defects noticed on site.
- Conduct work safely in accordance with Company and Governmental policy.
- Observe all Client and company statutory fire and health and safety regulations.
- Manage Yourself
- Maintain the highest professional standards, ensuring focus on a quality approach towards Clients. Manage your time effectively, co-operate with all requests for service and carry out all reasonable management requests.

- Working in the best interests of the Client and customers at all times. Forming positive relationships based upon trust, openness and honesty.
- Promote a professional, corporate and positive image, be helpful and courteous at all times.

**Freedom to Act**
- Operate within agreed operational and/or management guidelines.
- Working within the limits of the Salisbury Corporate Governance.
- Freedom to escalate any H&S issues to Salisbury board level in the event of serious concerns and to liaise with Salisbury’s Head of
- Health & Safety.

**Minimum Qualifications, Certifications and Training required**
- No formal qualifications required, training opportunities available.

**Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience for this role**
- Experience in a similar role and a proven record in this type of work.
- A basic knowledge use, handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
- A basic knowledge Material Safety Data Sheets
