1. Standardise and recognise the training of breast clinicians
2. Increase the breast clinician workforce to support breast screening and symptomatic services.

You will join a current trainee within the team. These are newly established posts for trainee Breast Clinicians to support the future delivery of high quality symptomatic and screening breast services, family history / risk assessment and breast clinical services.

The Broomfield site is particularly keen to support these roles and will actively promote a learning environment. The general radiology department has 6 Specialist Trainees offering peer support.

The MSB Breast units have full field digital mammography, dedicated breast ultrasound, stereotactic capability which includes access the vacuum assisted biopsy. Breast tomosynthasis is available at Colchester general hospital. Breast MRI is available at all 3 sites.
