Finance Assistant

We are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a state-of-the-art company that is growing rapidly.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Daily bookkeeping using Sage
- Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
- Matching purchasing invoices to purchase orders.
- Posting purchase invoices ensuring correct cost centres.
- Bank/Credit Card reconciliation
- VAT returns.
- Posting journals.
- Monthly reports.
- Helping purchasing team raising purchase orders and placing orders with suppliers.
- Supporting Financial Controller with adhoc requests
- Other office admin jobs as required.
**Essential Requirements**:
- Good understanding of bookkeeping principles.
- Experience in using accounting software.
- Numerical with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work as part of a team.
**Desirable**:
- Bookkeeping qualification: e.g. ICB, IAB, AAT etc.
- Experience with Sage.
- Proficiency with MS Office and Outlook.
- Industry experience of bookkeeping.
