**The Role**
The Downtown Concierge Team provide a first class customer experience to our residents, 24 hours a day. We have an excellent opportunity to join the team based at our Downtown apartment building in Salford. You will be part of a friendly and dynamic team who really make a difference for the residents that live here. The Head Concierge will take on the line management of the concierge team consisting of 4 members of staff.
Hours: Monday - Friday 7am-3pm
**Salary**: £13 p/h
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Line management responsibilities for a team of 4 concierge staff including managing the staff rota and arranging cover etc.
- Provide first class customer care to residents of the building as a key representative of our business.
- Proactively service residents needs by utilising your knowledge of the building and local area.
- Be available to residents at all times during your shift either on the concierge desk or via mobile when away from the desk.
- Ensure you are fully conversant with our concierge front of house procedures and comply with all policies and procedures that are in place.
- Rectify any unplanned cleaning emergencies; directly where required (spillages and accidents in communal areas).
- Proactively deal with any maintenance issues that arise by informing the building manager.
- Parcel Management: to be responsible for all deliveries to main reception, by receiving, safe keeping and issuing of all parcels / registered mail in line with the company procedure.
- Provide utility meter readings for apartments as and when required.
- Monitor our Resident Engagement Apps’ messaging facility and respond promptly.
- Give a clear and concise handover at the end of the shift to the follow on team member, highlighting any events that have occurred and making follow on staff aware of any forthcoming events.
- Manage car parking in line with our policy and procedure.
- Key Management: issue keys only to correct personnel/residents whilst recording the signing in and out of keys in line with our company procedure.
- Coordinate, instruct and allow access for services to the development, such as for utility companies, refuse collection, deliveries, repairs and maintenance.
- Conduct Building patrols, CCTV monitoring and basic safety checks.
- Handle general enquiries such as queries, complaints and maintenance requests.
- Work closely with the Marketing Director in organising and publicising events and activities for residents.
- Arrangement of furniture and layout of residents lounge and other communal areas in preparation for organised events.
