Operations Administrator

**Avocet Commercial Careers is excited to be working with a leading logistics provider.**
**Operations Administrator Responsibilities**:
- Act as the first point of contact for phone enquiries and visitors
- Manage air and sea imports (groupage & containers), including tracking ETAs, advising customers of schedule changes, customs clearance, delivery, and invoicing
- Prepare export customs entries on NES (online) for assigned colleagues
- Submit clearance requests when required
- Process Certificates of Origin and other documentation as required
- Assist with administrative tasks such as invoicing, liaising with shipping lines/hauliers/airlines, ordering stationery and water, and arranging couriers
- Undertake other duties as assigned by the management team
**Operations Administrator Requirement**:
- Previous experience in a similar administrative or customer service role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
