Here at The Onslow Arms, we believe in family. For the last 12 years Barry, our general manager and his team have built an excellent reputation for amazing food with the best service in lovely surroundings. We have a well-established team, delivering high standards of service and are looking for friendly, energetic people to join us and become part of our family. We promote a fun and sociable environment for our team to work in and the team thrive in this positive atmosphere.
We offer comprehensive training for all job roles and excellent industry-leading rates of pay and amazing tips. Promoting from within is something we live by; we offer people the right skills to progress to the levels they wish to attain via our great in-house training programmes. Our management team is made of people who started with us as team members, as are some of our kitchen team.

**What we look for in a Kitchen Assistant;**

We are looking for an existing Kitchen Assistant or an individual looking for their next step to their hospitality career, who considers themselves to have a passion to work within a reliable team that delivers high quality standards. We need hard-working and dedicated people behind the scenes to help our restaurants run smoothly and to ensure that they are always clean and tidy. As the successful Kitchen Porter you will:

- Be an active hands-on person with a passion to work hard as part of a team
- Have high standards and a great work ethic
- You will show willingness to learn new skills, be an active team player with excellent communication skills
- Be working alongside your kitchen team and will be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to deliver top quality service
- Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills to complete day to day tasks
