**The role**:

- We are looking for engaging and inspiring people to join our team of regional Membership Recruiters/Charity Fundraisers working at local venues and events.
- The aim of the role is to encourage people to join their local Wildlife Trust and support the vital work they do by way of a monthly direct debit.
- You will be the public face of the Wildlife Trusts at venues and events in the local area, representing the charity and engaging with members of the public.

**What we are looking for**:

- People with a can-do attitude that enjoy working in various places, rather than being stuck behind a desk in an office.
- Effective and confident communicators who can talk to anyone and everyone.
- Those who are comfortable and motivated to reach and surpass targets/KPIs.
- You will have a valid driving licence, and a car or van is essential for transportation of equipment (including a 2x2m gazebo, fold-out table, display board and other promotional materials).
- Experience of field sales, promotional roles, or a face-to-face fundraising background is welcome, but not essential. Transferrable skills in people-facing communication roles will be considered.
- An interest or knowledge in wildlife, conservation and the environment is helpful, but not essential.
- Excellent level of spoken and written English.

**Benefits and Earnings**:

- Uncapped commission: the average hourly rate is £15, with top performers earning over £30 per hour.
- During the training/learning period we offer an initial safety net rate of £14 per hour, this reduces to a minimum hourly base rate of £11 per hour after the first 60 days of employment.

- 21 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays (pro-rata).
- Travel contribution based on mileage paid monthly.
- Full charity-branded uniform, kit and ID badge provided plus all equipment.
- Chartered Institute of Fundraising approved training.
- This is a permanent contract with fixed days, no zero-hour contracts.
- If the Team Leader believes you would be suitable for the role you will receive a job offer and be booked into induction training (we hold regular training dates every month).
- All new starters receive 2 days of paid induction training (The first held virtually, and the second at our central HQ near Bicester, Oxfordshire) and a further 2 days of paid on-site training at venues/events.
- Our comprehensive training includes charity specific training, objection handling and a thorough introduction to our company culture and ethics.
