Supply Chain/operations Analyst

Working alongside the Operations Team Leader your role as the Supply Chain Operations Analyst will be to present weekly recommended manufacturing schedules to a defined portfolio of clients, reach agreement on future manufacturing plans, and subsequently deliverthe plans.
Key Responsibilities:

- Define available warehouse stock and agreed client sales forecast, and create manufacturing demand figure
- Produce a recommended manufacturing schedule for agreement with the client
- Producing weekly production plans and material requirements agreed with the manufacturer
- Placing purchase orders required with manufacturers and suppliers
- Monitoring delivery, availability and stock levels of raw materials in line with the production plan, and resolving any issues
- Resolving any queries relating to deliveries, invoices, quality and timeliness that arise within the incoming supply chain
- Maintain an effective relationship with clients and suppliers, including providing clients with feedback on supplier performance
- Weekly reporting
- Month end stock reconciliation and adjustments
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Manage conflicting priorities
- Effective communication - internally and externally
- Ability to interface at all levels

Experience and Skill Requirements:

- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience of using MS Excel in an Operations role.
- Experience working in an administrative Operations role.
- Relevant experience of a similar role covering most of the same areas
- Proficient in the use of inventory and accounting software, preferably SOS, Unleashed, QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage (not essential)
- Proficient in using MS Excel
- Proactive
- Good at building supplier relationships
