Finance Delivery provides the back office Financial services to the organisation, with the delivery through Global Finance Operations and transformation through the Global Process Ownership function. The Data & Reporting team are part of the GPO team and are accountable for the strategy and governance of operational finance data and reporting. In this role you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy and compliance of financial data.
What you’ll do:
- Execute and oversee the data governance model in collaboration with the Head of Finance Data & Reporting.
- Establish and maintain processes for tracking the quality of financial data.
- Effectively communicate data governance processes to internal teams and stakeholders
- Develop and implement procedures for cleansing financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Link data quality to financial risk to bring to life the risks and issues of poor data quality.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in a finance or data governance role, with a focus on quality and compliance.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in implementing and managing data governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with financial systems and data management tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
