A great and rare opportunity has arisen. Our client is looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor [VDA] to join their modern Bodyshop, based in Slough (Buckinghamshire).

The position of Vehicle Damage Assessor [VDA] requires the individual to assess / estimate accident damage using the required knowledge and methods to ascertain the safest repair method. An ATA is desirable but not essential, as is knowledge of Audatex, Autoflow etc. You will have 3-5 years experience in a similar role, and live in or around Slough (Buckinghamshire).

Duties will include but not limited to:

- Ascertaining accident circumstances
- Creating assessments / estimates
- Dealing with total loss vehicles
- Negotiating rates with none approved body repair providers
- Working closely with engineers and insurers building close relationships
